There’s a beautiful bird out in a forest. She flies her little wings up and down the hilly terrain near the glistening, cold Himalayas. They refer to her as Noori; this beautiful, colorful bird. On rare occasions they get a glimpse of her striking beauty. Yet always, they hear her tweeting her silly, sweet songs

Pedestal

I put you on a pedestal, With fighting fish crawling under the mud at your feet In a serene place enchanted with greenery Where the rain drops with fragrant flowers All around you, and at your feet Where the monkeys laugh and play in swings atop balconies, And the dragon snake slithers through the skies

Satisfaction

You and me, side by side, on the back of a rattling bus Looking at each other smilingly; while hair strands fly across my face from the harsh winds that barge through the window Along this crazy, winding, bumpy ride. There’s so much joy bursting inside me, acknowledging that I get to touch your warm

My blissful chaos

Wow I miss it so much; life in the east where the sun rises and you’re always drunk on love. A place filled with holy gods and goddesses watching you from every street corner as you pass by with a helpless smile, eyes closed and head tilted towards the sky. High on dust and dirt.
