Whirlpool

Not sure why sometimes the soul speaks
Like a tempest to the seas. A drop of water in a vacuum tunnel; turning fast into massive whirlpool
The size of a universe. That’s how I feel
Falling in it with you. Feeling the shrill
With the brain numbed
Our eyes dilated and the mouth open, unable to scream
The tide is way too loud
The feeling is way too high
Not sure if it’s the tunnel or if it’s just being with you

I want you

Dirty
In colors, smeared all over your face
Colors dusted on your clothes
I want you shaking off swamp waters
And dripping holy sweat
I want to line your face
From your eyes to your ears
In black kohl
I wanna put you where you belong
On a pedestal chair overlooking
Ripped scraps and banana peels
I wanna get down on my knees and worship you

Shady world

House didn’t feel like a home. Trying to keep my parents safe while trying to look like we’re all leading simple safe lives. When in the yard, it’s hard to feel free as you suspect invisible vehicles are driving along the roads monitoring you.

Guy writes a beautiful song and he’s got a good voice, but there’s something dark about the days. Get to work from home, but you feel trapped in sweats as if it’s wintertime and it’s cold outside while it’s supposed to be like summer.

Murky waters, greenery and lush
Big truck machines that look like gigantic insects
That drill things like oil underneath the ground and back-stab the bugs
A group of men think they’re machines
Young, haughty, and gung-ho
They quickly form a line and stack in front of one another
Slotting themselves into a machine-like truck
Ready to do some cool work
It’s a surprise that it’s working,
but the attempt was still just too loud and uncertain
The main guy at the end loses control, flies out and falls into the murky waters, while the rest get crushed and die

Love it

Summer’s just begun and it hasn’t ended yet. Let’s go walk in the warm rain baby. Let’s hold hands and goof around. I wish we could be naked; there’s no one around. But you never know who can come up, so let’s wear our shirts real thin. Let’s smile and look up at the sky, and when the water pours into our eyes let’s cry and laugh. Hold my hand and let’s dance. Wrap me close in your arms. Let’s drink up the rain and kiss the lips. Let’s run and hide and splash in bliss. I love it when we’re all soaked and muddy. Kiss me again and taste me all dirty. It feels so alive and grounding. You and I and mud and rain. Your smile and the drenched hair over your face. Rain dripping down your teeth. I wouldn’t want anything else in the world but to stand here and look at you.
